Summary Anti-encroachment cell demolished three illegal buildings during operation in Gulistan-e-Johar area.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least seven marriage halls illegally-built on land allocated for amenity purposes were demolished on Supreme Court’s orders by anti-encroachment cell of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) on Tuesday.
Anti-encroachment cell demolished three illegal buildings including a marriage hall constructed on an amenity plot during an operation in Gulistan-e-Johar area. Director General KDA was also present to supervise the operation.
It is pertinent to mention here that anti-encroachment cell could only demolish seven marriage halls illegally-built on 11 plots allocated for amenity purposes in two days.
