DI Khan girl moves to PHC for protection, effective action against suspects
The girl has adopted stance that she has a threat from the influential people.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Dera Ismail Khan girl who was stripped and forced to parade naked in the village has submitted petition in Peshawar High Court requesting the provision of protection and effective action against suspects.
The girl has adopted stance that she should be provided safety and protection as she has a threat from the influential people.
She has requested the court to include the name of the person involved in making her video in the case as he has not been nominated in the FIR.

The girl’s brother told media outside PHC that his family is getting threats while the police is not cooperating in arresting the suspects. He expressed hope that the court will serve justice to them.
Salma Malik, chairperson of a private NGO who is backing the girl in the case, said that the matter is quite sensitive. She told that advocate Qazi Anwar is fighting the case.
“The incident occurred due to the decisions of panchayat. As per my information, the DPO is cooperating in the case,” she said.
