Blaze damages flour mill in Karachi
Fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control and a hectic effort of three hours.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire broke out at a flour mill in Nazimabad area of Karachi on late Monday night when a boiler at the mill exploded. The fire spread and engulfed the entire building of the flour mill very quickly.
The blaze badly damaged the flour mill. Eye-witnesses said that the boiler exploded at the Abdullah Flour Mill with a big bang after which the fire erupted and spread very quickly.
Police and fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control and a hectic effort of three hours.
Fire officer Arif Mansoori present at the scene informed media that narrow streets in the area hampered the rescue operation. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
