Delimitation matter reaches Council of Common interest, PPP's demand accepted

Council of Common Interest's meeting has been called for 13 November

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Delimitation matters has reached Council of Common Interest on PPP’s demands and the meeting of Council of Common Interest will be held on 13 November at 12 PM under the supervision of Prime Minister.

PPP had earlier demanded that there will be no support for the constitutional amendment from the parliamentary members belonging to PPP unless the matter passes through Council of Common Interest. PTI also backed PPP’s reservations in the previous meeting, while JI had opposed the delimitation amendment and had submitted its recommendations to the house.

Prime Minister, all four Chief Ministers, Minister for Law and Justice and Secretary, Secretary of Law and Justice and other important officials will be included in the meeting.
