Karachi: Police shootout at Korangi crossing, 2 police officials injured

Two police officials of CID were injured during a police shootout in the area of Korangi crossing Karachi.

According to TPO Korangi Usman Ghani, a gang of dacoits was busy robbing people by blocking the road in Korangi crossing. As soon as the CID police mobile reached the site, dacoits opened fire upon them. As a result of firing, two officials of CID police got injured. When police called for back-up, till then the dacoits managed to flee towards the Korangi stream. Police then surrounded the stream and searched for dacoits but so far, no arrests have been made.
