Balochistan reduces annual summer, winter vacations in schools
The government has issued a notification in this regard.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - The government of Balochistan on Monday reduced the annual summer and winter vacations in the schools of the province.
A notification has been issued in this regard according to which summer vacations in winter zone and winter vacations in summer zone have been cut down by five days.
Meanwhile, the two and a half month vacations in winter and summer zone districts have been limited to two months.
In winter zone districts including Quetta, long term vacations will be held from January 1 - February 28 whereas in summer zone districts, long term vacations will be observed from June 1 - July 31.

Similarly, short term winter vacations in summer zone districts will take place from December 22 – December 31 while short term summer vacations will occur from July 22 – July 31.
The government and secondary education department has taken the decision due to the adverse impact of long term vacation on educational activities.
