PTI chairman referred to Sharif brothers as corrupt politicians who will be ousted from the country

MIANWALI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that he will hold the rich accountable and make them abide by law if given power.

Addressing to a massive rally in home ground today, Imran Khan said that one of the Sharif brothers has been ousted and the other will also meet the same end soon. He lashed out at the Punjab government saying constables of Punjab police appear as postmen after their changed uniform.

He praised the people of Mianwali saying the locals never disappointed him when it came to support, adding that young and old in the city were the first to identify with his struggle. He credited the people of Mianwali for the election triumphs and success of party.

While talking about the issues faced by the residents, he said police reforms are much needed here because false cases are registered under current police practices. He gave the example of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police where PTI won the government in 2013 general elections, and stated that police reforms in the province resulted in positive impacts.

Imran Khan criticised the Punjab police for its political loyalties with PML-N. He bashed Punjab government for only progressing in advertisements rather than reality. He blamed Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif for the “undeveloped state” of Punjab.

The opposition member not only criticised the ruling government but also took hits at coalition partners. He promised to reform FBR and NAB, and stop money laundering if given power.
