Female journalist Zeenat Shahzadi recovered after two years
Zeenat Shahzadi was rescued from some enemy agencies and non-state actors who had abducted her.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Zeenat Shahzadi, a female journalist who went missing from Lahore in 2015, has been recovered by security officials.
BBC Urdu reported that head of the missing persons commission, Retired Justice Javed Iqbal confirmed while talking to it that Shahzadi was recovered from near the Pak-Afghan border on Wednesday night.
Javed Iqbal, who is also the newly appointed National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chief, said tribal elders of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) played a vital role in her release.

Zeenat Shahzadi was rescued from some enemy agencies and non-state actors who had abducted her, added Iqbal. It is worth mentioning here that Shahzadi’s family has not issued any statement regarding her retrieval yet.
