Minister says inquiry of abductions of political workers has begun, culprits to be brought to book
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal has on Monday said that strong action will be taken against whoever was involved in the abductions of political workers in Lahore ahead of NA-120 by-election, reported Dunya News.
Addressing the opening ceremony of Asia Peace Film Festival in Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal said that some people were abducted in Lahore and action will be taken against those involved.
Interior Minister said that peace has been restored in Pakistan and it will soon become an economic power as well.
He further said that the people of NA-120 had expressed their trust in NA-120. He added that the international media that declared Pakistan a terror zone a few years ago was now predicting that Pakistan would soon become an economic bigwig.
