ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court of Pakistan Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday said that there are holes in the money trail of Imran Khan’s Bani Gala house, reported Dunya News.

Chief Justice Pakistan is heading a bench that is hearing Imran Khan disqualification case. During Tuesday’s hearing, chief justice said that Khan took a debt from Jemaima Khan of Rs. 40 million but he didn’t show that in his nomination papers.

“Imran showed the price of his London flat as 2 million in tax amnesty scheme, however, he claims that he sold it for Rs. 80 to 90 million,” CJP observed. However, Imran Khan’s counsel Naeem Bukhari said that the price written in the amnesty scheme was the buying price of the flats.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial questioned whether Imran Khan showed the debt he took from Jemaima Khan. CJP said that there are loop holes in the money trail of the Bani Gala residency.

“Where are the transaction details of the money transferred to Rashid Khan,” he remarked. He said that PTI chief had not refuted the allegation of buying unnamed assets. The case was adjourned till September 26.

Hanif Abbasi who is the petitioner in Imran Khan disqualification case which is being heard in the Supreme Court has claimed that Imran Khan will be disqualified at the end of this case. Like Nawaz Sharif and his family, Khan is supposed to present the money trail of his house in Bani Gala.
