Karachi: Fire destroys shoe factory
The owner has accused the factory workers of igniting the fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire erupted at a shoe factory in SITE Area of Karachi which spread very quickly and engulfed the entire building of the factory, Dunya News reported.
Rescue and fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The blaze was so severe that the entire building collapsed. The nearby buildings were also evacuated. At least three firefighters also received injuries in the incident.
Meanwhile, the owner has accused the factory workers of igniting the fire over salary dispute. Police have started investigation.
