NAB continues to take action against corruption in Sindh, arrests suspect in illegal allotment case

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Suspect Ikhlaq Ahmed was arrested in Islamabad after rejection of his bail from Supreme Court of Pakistan in illegal allotments case, reported Dunya News.

Ikhlaq was sent to jail on judicial remand by a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court in Karachi. According to details, he had an alleged role in illegal allotment of land at Clifton’s Teen Talwar in Karachi. This was allegedly planned with the help of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Board of Revenue Sindh workers.

The suspect, with the help of five absconders, inflicted a loss of more than a billion rupees to the national treasury.
