Key figures for one 'Muttahida' ahead of 2018 polls
Efforts are underway to gather factions on one platform.
KARACHI (Dunya News)- Key political figures are stressing on all factions of Muttahida Qaumi Movement to gather on single platform ahead of 2018 general polls, reported Roznama Dunya on Monday.
Sources privy to development told our correspondent that important personalities have held meeting with three major factions of Muttahida and presented a formula to formulate single party in the greater interest of Karachi. Furthermore, a suggestion was put forth to garner all factions under umbrella of “All Pakistan Muttahida Alliance” after one faction stated that it couldn’t surrender its political identity for sake of unity.
Sources further narrated that petition would be filed in Election Commission of Pakistan for unified election symbol after formation of All Pakistan Muttahida Alliance.
