NAB obtains volume 10 of Panama JIT report

Volume 10 consists of more than 415 pages while NAB also received three copies of full JIT report.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday has obtained volume 10 of Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report for the investigation against Sharif family.
Sources told that NAB’s first plea was rejected by Supreme Court’s (SC) registrar office, however it accepted the second application.
Volume 10 consists of more than 415 pages while NAB has also received three copies of full JIT report.
Earlier, NAB issued summons to ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and his sons, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz for August 18. A team from Rawalpindi NAB will record their statements about Al-Azizia Steel Mills.
Supreme Court had directed NAB to prepare three references in which one was regarding Al-Azizia Steel Mill while the other two were about London flats and 16 offshore companies held by the Sharif family.
It should be mentioned that Nawaz Sharif had submitted review appeals in the top court against the verdict of disqualification, attaching documents of Capital FZE salary and UAE Iqama (work permit). His lawyer reasoned that a stay order should be issued on Panama case decision until review petition is ruled, questioning the jurisdiction of five-member bench after dissenting notes by two of the judges.
SC had disqualified Nawaz Sharif in Panama case verdict on the basis of his non-withdrawn salary, considering it part of his assets.
