Big week for Pakistani politics as a fresh leader of the House was elected after Nawaz Sharif was dismissed over opposition s petition seeking his disqualification.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former oil minister now serves as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

However, his first address to the House made him sound like a representative of a political party and not the leader of the nation. During his address, he resorted to rhetorics, loose rebirth of which would be, Nawaz Sharif remains the premier for me.

Many of our readers will agree that first address of any premier, no matter what it is and where it is, should sound like leader of the nation and not candidate of a party.

Shafqat Cheema slapped his wife

Shafqat Cheema does not get the modern times.

The he-man of Lollywood who is far removed from comedy and too centered in anti-heroics, Shafqat Cheema was live at ARY studios for morning show with Sanam Baloch this week when he revealed that he had assaulted his wife for giving birth to five daughters one after the other.

It sounds terrible, we know but that is what he said.

Cheema went on narrating this one encounter he had with late Sultan Rahi. The film and telly actor believes that the Almighty blessed him with a baby boy after Rahi prayed for the couple.

Cheema recalled that whilst on sets, Rahi inquired on him why was he tensed to which  Landa Bazar  actor said he wants a boy this time around.

Rahi, as narrated by Cheema, went straight for a sajda and told him once he got up that his wishes would come true.

Yes... Cheema thrashed his wife and Rahi prayed for a baby boy. Yes.

British model slaps Indian actor on sets

British fashion model and actor Scarlett Wilson reportedly slapped an actor on sets of her upcoming venture Hansa – Ek Sanyog for making unwelcome advances.

The Baahubali: The Beginning actress is a budding name in Indian film industries and reportedly she had to face an awkward incident when Umakant Rai had to be policed.

Reportedly, Wilson snapped when he attempted to touch her. The incident brought the shoot to halt and the guy was thrown out of the sets.

Producer of the venture sought an apology from Rai and warned that he would raise the issue with Film Federation of India.

Wilson is next signed opposite Akshay Kumar for Gold.

Imran and Nisar’s alleged secret rendezvous

Journalist with The New York Times claimed this week on Tuesday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan met with former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan at an Islamabad eatery and it made to our Twitter Buffet given the sensitivity of the case.

Pakistan correspondent for The New York Times, Salman Masoon stated that Khan and the former minister met at Aylanto Café in F-7 of Islamabad.

However, no explanation has been offered by either of the two leaders whose meeting would be a national news given the current political scenario following Nawaz Sharif’s dismissal under Article 62 and Article 63 on July 28.

Ayesha Gulalai and Imran texts take over Pakistan

National Assembly (NA) member from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Ayesha Gulalai accused Imran Khan of dropping inappropriate hints through text messages over the past years.

She claimed that her political career and participation in PTI affairs suffered owing to Khan s approaches.

PTI chairman denied making any move whereas Gulalai had allegedly shown Khan s text messages to Hamid Mir in his programme on Geo Television.

According to the MNA, she received the first ever such message from Khan s mobile phone number in 2013 and the last one in July 2016.

Briton Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom got into an ugly spat on Twitter that rose out of a divorce. Khan announced that he was partying ways with the fashion model whereas Makhdoom, after tearing Khan down on in a number of bashing tweets, claimed that her handle was hacked.

Naeemul Haque was blasted by his cyber army this week after he allegedly admitted of discussion with Ayesha Gulalai over marriage which apparently was against PTI’s stance in the issue.

Shafqat Mehmood, one of the senior members of PTI covered for the blunder by stating on social media that Haque’s handle was hacked (Too much hacking this week in Twitter Buffet).
