Oil tankers' association strike in Quetta enters day two

The association went on a strike over misbahviour with oil tankers' drivers at the check posts.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Oil tanker association’s strike in Quetta in favour of their demands has taken to second day (Monday).

The association went on a strike over misbahviour with oil tankers’ drivers at the checkposts. Numerous tankers are currently stationed at Mastung road in the aftermath of the strike.



Leaders of the association have said that their drivers are being perturbed unnecessarily. They announced that the strike will persist till indefinite time period.

Petrol pumps are closed in the city due to non-availability of petrol and diesel causing immense trouble for the public.



While taking advantage of the situation, mini petrol pumps are selling the fuel on self-prescribed prices forcing the people to pay the high amount in crisis hour.

Oil tankers’ association has demanded that their drivers should not be handled badly and stopped at the checkposts for long hours.
