No special relief for Raymond in jail: Pervez Rashid

Spokesman of the Punjab government Senator Pervez Rashid said that no special protocol has been given to Raymond Davis in jail and he is being treated like all other accused.

Senator Pervez Rashid was talking to the media in Gujranwala. He said that I f there had been some other government in Pakistan; Raymond Davis would have been enjoying free movement in America up till now.He maintained that it was the Punjab government that arrested him and conducted impartial investigation. The Court will decide the Raymond case, Rashid asserted.Regarding the relation with PPP, Pervez Rashid said that 10-point agenda of PML-N was not for gaining personal benefits but all 10 points of the agenda were meant for the interest and integrity of Pakistan.He said that PPP government should arrest the killer of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and prosecute him. Musharraf was involved in the killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and now he has been named in the murder of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, so Musharraf should be arrested and be brought to justice.
