Three people were dead and five other were injured in separate incidents in Karachi.

Residents of Lyari were protesting against the killing of Kachi Coordination Committee member Imran. They staged a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister’s House against Imran’s killing. When they returned to Lyari, firing broke out in various areas of Lyari that resulted in the deaths of Ahmed Ali and Bilal, besides injuring three men. In Kati Pahari and Ram Swami areas two men were injured by the firing of unknown men. Lyari area is still echoing with firing that triggers panic among the locals. Meanwhile, a passerby was dead after being hit by a truck in Korangi.
