Geo's reporting incorrect: Interior Minister's spokesperson
Nisar's spokesperson said that Geo's reporting was in contradiction with journalistic norms
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar’s spokesperson has on Thursday said that Geo’s reporting about him was incorrect and it was against all journalistic norms, reported Dunya News.
The minister reacted strongly to the reports on Geo about his remarks during the cabinet meeting. He said that it was extremely unethical to attribute some statement to the interior minister that he hadn’t even uttered.
Interior Minister’s spokesperson said that the media channels must never report anything untrue. The spokesperson said that the statement on the record of cabinet meeting was completely different to the one reported by Geo. “Interior Minister said nothing of what Geo was reporting”, the spokesperson said.
