Six killed in roof collapse incidents in Gujranwala
Rescue officials arrived at the scene and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – At least six people were killed and four wounded in two separate roof collapse incidents due to heavy rainfall in Gujranwala on Wednesday.
The first incident was reported in Nawab Chowk where the roof of the dilapidated house caved in killing 45-year-old Rehana, her 14-year-old son Abdullah and 10-year-old daughter Mehak while two other children including a girl and boy were injured.
Rescue officials arrived at the scene after receiving information and shifted the dead and injured to Civil Hospital.
The second mishap occurred in Arif Town near native area of Ferozwala which claimed the lives of a woman along with her son and daughter.
