Pakistanis took to Twitter as hashtags relating to JIT report started trending
(Web Desk) - As the Joint Investigation Team submitted its final report before the Supreme Court on Monday amid heightened political tension and media frenzy, the social media was remained abuzz with several hashtags over the issue trending across the country.
Trends relating to the JIT report took over Twitter and remained popular on the social networking website hours into the report’s submission as social media users started posting their views under different hashtags.
With hashtags varying from those tweeting in support of the PM to those vocally opposing him, Twitter was also fired up by trends that included tweets by Pakistanis concerned about the investigation and its outcome in the aftermath of the submission of JIT’s report before the SC.
Politicians, journalists and other users fired up the Twitterverse with opinions and comments over the controversial issue that has been on the spotlight for the past several months.
