NAB chairman appears before Panama JIT

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) as he reached the Federal Judicial Academy on Wednesday after being summoned in the Panama Papers case.
Sources revealed that Qamar Zaman Chaudhry presented the copies of NAB s judgement on Hudaibiya Paper Mills case to the JIT officials on the occasion.
The Joint Investigation Team had a question answer session of one and half hour with NAB Chairman on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz appeared before Joint Investigation Team (JIT), constituted to probe offshore wealth of Sharif family in Panama Papers case, for the first time.
I asked the JIT what is our crime? Why we are being summoned for incessant hearings? But the team was unable to answer, she expressed this while talking to the media outside Federal Judicial Academy after her brief appearance before Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
