Opponents' negative propoganda, conspiracies will fail miserably: Shehbaz
Sahiwal Coal Power Project has a capacity of six hundred sixty megawatt
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has on Monday said that negative propaganda and conspiracies hatched by the opponents would fail miserably.
He let it be known at a function in connection to the inauguration of the second unit of Sahiwal Coal Power Project. The project has a capacity of six hundred sixty megawatt.
The chief minister professed that the completion of the 1,320 MW project in a record time of twenty two months is indeed a huge achievement.
Shahbaz Sharif went on to say that this is the first power project that has been completed under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
"The project is an example of hard work, sincerity and transparency," Shehbaz Sharif expressed during his speech.
Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Sun Weidong, and senior officials of Chinese companies were also present on the occasion.
