LHC grants bail to 6 accused of NICL scandal

Lahore High Court has ordered to release all the accused arrested in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scandal. LHC Justice Manzoor Malik accepted the bails of 6 accused including Habibullah Warraich against sureties of Rs 20 lakh each.

FIA told the court that it has recovered RS 1.68 billion from Habibullah Warraich. The court granted the bail to the accused due to insufficient proofs against them. The accused include Habibullah Warraich, Naveed Hussain, Syed Athar Ali, Muhammad Zahoor, Syed Zahid Hussain and Hur Gardezi.
