Karachi mayor joins protest against water crisis

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar on Tuesday joined the protest against the water crisis prevalent in the city these days.
Waseem Akhtar had arrived at Yousaf Goth where he was supposed to inaugurate a school in the area.
However, the city mayor joined the protestors while they were protesting against the water crisis in Karachi.
While reviewing the construction work in New Karachi area, the city mayor was of the opinion that they are drafting a charge-sheet against the provincial government.
At the occasion, Waseem Akhtar also expressed his concerns over the construction of road at double cost.
He let it be known that they are striving to solve the problems prevalent in the city despite of the fact that no powers have been assigned to them as yet.
