Nisar condemns arrest of PSP leadership
Nisar says Pakistan�s constitution gives freedom for peaceful protest for the resolution of problems
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has condemned the police torture on Pak Sarzameen Party and arrest of its leaders including Mustafa Kamal during a peaceful protest in Karachi on Sunday.
Chaudhry Nisar said that constitution of Pakistan gives full freedom for peaceful political protest for the resolution of problems and added that the action against a peaceful political rally is completely illogical.
The Interior Minister strongly condemned the act of using force to disperse peaceful participants of the rally and arrest of the PSP leadership. He said the Sindh government had failed to provide the citizens basic necessities of life.
