Punjab CM forms committee to investigate Nankana Sahib child torture incident

CM gave one million cheque to the victim family and announced to provide artificial hand to victim.

NANKANA SAHIB (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday has met the bereaved family of a 13-year-old boy who got his hand cut by an implacable landlady in Nankana Sahib.

The minister gave one million cheque to the victim family and announced to provide artificial hand and free education to the sufferer. He has also formed an investigation committee that will submit complete report over the incident today.

Earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took suo moto notice of the mishap and directed Inspector-General of Police Punjab to present the inquiry report in this regard as early as possible.

It was reported on Tuesday that a landlady had cut the right hand of her teenage domestic employee Muhammad Irfan for not feeding the cattle.
