Deadly UAE blaze burns two Pakistani children to death

SHARJAH (Web Desk) - At least two minor Pakistani children died from a fire that erupted in their residence in the Al Ghafiya area in Sharjah.

The two brothers aged seven and nine were living in the house with their parents and another family. Rest of the members managed to escape the fire and remained unharmed.

Firefighting personnel and fire engines rushed to the spot after receiving information and tried to extinguish the blaze, however; it spread quickly and gutted down the whole property.

The bodies were transferred to Sharjah Forensic Laboratory for proper legal and administrative procedures. They were later handed over to the family, and were buried on Sunday evening.

An investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire and determine about the children’s presence in the house at the time of incident.
