Protestors raised slogans against PM Nawaz, minister of water and power, said govt doing corruption

SIALKOT: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest against load shedding on Monday in Allama Iqbal Chowk under the leadership of Usman Dar. The protestors raised slogans against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on the occasion, reported Dunya News.

First, they staged protest in Allama Iqbal Chowk where they recorded their protest holding hand fans. People from all parts of the district attended the protest. They raised slogans against the government.

The protestors said that the claims of curbing load shedding lay bare before the people of Pakistan and the government was only promoting corruption in the name of energy projects.

The protest was attended by central leader Usman Dar, Umar Farooq, former MPA Chaudhry Tahir Mehmood Hindli and a large number of the citizens.
