KARACHI (Dunya News) – Political temperature is rising in Pakistan following the Supreme Court’s verdict in Panama case. Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan) in a move aimed at exhibiting political strength conducted a rally titled ‘Suno Karachi’ from Liaquatabad to Mazar-e-Quaid under the leadership of the party chief, Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday against the Sindh government.

The MQM-Pakistan chief, Dr Farooq Sattar while addressing the participants of the rally at the Mazar-e-Quaid strongly criticized Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He said that the time of PPP’s accountability has started.

Farooq Sattar also announced to go to the Supreme Court next week to seek powers for the mayors.

On the other hand, pro-party founder slogans were chanted during the MQM-Pakistan rally raising questions over legitimacy of the charter narrative weaved by MQM Pakistan after detachment with party’s founder last year.
