Infant mauled by stray cats in Muzaffargarh hospital succumbs to injuries
The bereaved family has demanded the government to take action into the matter.
MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – A 10-month-old girl succumbed to injuries after being mauled by stray cats in the children’s ward of Muzaffargarh’s District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) on Sunday night.
According to details, infant girl Sadia was attacked by cats in hospital after which the administration forcefully discharged her that led to the protest of the bereaved family.
The hospital readmitted the victim over her critical condition however, she could not survive.
Girl’s father said that doctors claimed that his daughter died of severe weakness due to diarrhea, not because of cats bite. He further demanded the provincial government to take stern action into the matter and punish the culprits.
