PML-Q leader lashes out at govt, Pervaiz Elahi tells Shehbaz to export load shedding to India

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader, and former chief minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has on Thursday lashed out at Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif over the rising load shedding, telling him to export load shedding to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of dreaming to export electricity, reported Dunya News.

Public representatives met Pervaiz Elahi under the leadership of PML-Q MNA from Bahwalpur Tariq Bashir Cheema at Pervaiz Elahi’s Lahore residence. Talking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that exporting electricity to India was a fool’s dream and Shehbaz Sharif might in fact export load shedding to India.

Criticising the government policies, Pervaiz Elahi said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) was trying to keep itself relevant through ads in TV and newspapers. He said that the ruling party had already lost their footing in the public. “The rulers can only make commissions. Each child being born today is under debt worth hundreds of thousands of rupees but the Sharif brothers were bent on somehow befriending Modi”, he said.

He added that the cities and villages of Punjab remained in dark for several hours. “It hasn’t really been that hot as yet but load shedding has already risen to unbearable levels. If they love Modi so much, they should shift to India”, he said.
