One killed, five injured in firing incidents in Karachi
Firing incidents in Karachi have claimed one life while five others sustained injuries.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – One person was killed and five others were wounded in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, exchange of fire between drug peddlers groups in Purana Golimar area claimed one life while three other people were wounded. Heavy contingents of police and Rangers reached the spot after the incident and brought the situation under control.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Waseem while Shahid, Rehan and Abdul Basit sustained bullet wounds.
Some unidentified persons opened fire in New Karachi and Ahsanabad areas and injured two people. Rescue teams have shifted the injured to hospital.
On the other hand, Police conducted an operation in Manghupir area and arrested an accused. Police have also recovered arms and a motorcycle from his possession.
