PTI leader Arif Alvi terms Farooq Sattar's arrest as 'drama'

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Arif Alvi on Saturday has termed detention of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London chief Farooq Sattar as ‘drama’.

Earlier on Friday night, MQM Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar was released by police after brief detention. Police had arrested Farooq Sattar from Shahra-e-Faisal when he was returning home after attending a wedding ceremony.
Farooq Sattar was taken into custody in a case over hate speech and incidents of violence in Karachi on August 22 last year.
Police sources said that Farooq Sattar was declared an absconder in 15 cases. Police had shifted Farooq Sattar to Chakiwara Police Station.
Sources said that MQM Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar was released on the directives of Sindh government.
