SC nullifies exams held under Sindh Public Service Commission

It is to be mentioned here that more than 27,000 candidates participated in the exams.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Monday has announced verdict of suo moto notice and annulled exams held under Sindh Public Service Commission from 2013 to 2016 over transparency concerns.

According to details, hearing bench has also declared interviews conducted in last three years as null and void and ordered appointment of SPSC chairman in two weeks and other members in four weeks.

It was also decided that 2819 candidates would reappear for screening test in new exams to participate in the interview.

It is to be mentioned here that more than 27,000 candidates participated in the examinations from 2013 to 2016.

Earlier, senior journalist Kamran Khan in the program “Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath” revealed that SPSC officials including Director Information Technology (IT) Javed Chachar used their influence to issue separate roll number slips for their relatives and special ones whom they wanted to introduce in the Commission through the examinations.
