Dunya News is set to organise a Pakistan Day contest
(Web Desk) -- Dunya News is to organise Mera Pakistan Hai Ye photography contest in connection with March 23 and here are the terms and conditions:
Details of the contest

Submissions are acceptable starting from March 11 and the deadline is March 20.

An in-house jury of Dunya News will scrutinise the submissions on March 21st and March 22.

A winner will be announced on March 23rd, Pakistan Day along with the runner-up and the third prize.
Prize money:

Rs 50,000 will be awarded to the winner of the Resolution Day competition.

Rs 30,000 will be awarded to the runner-up while Rs 20,000 to the second runner-up of the competition.

Meanwhile, 20 top-ranking submissions will be posted across Dunya News social media platforms (Facebook: 7,690,691 likes, Twitter: 875,000 followers) in bid to recognise the effort.
Terms and Conditions:
• No plagiarised submission will be entertained. If a submission is found plagiarised, it will immediately be subjected to suspension from the contest.
• No aspirant can submit a picture on behalf of a person. Photographer concerned must submit the photo directly without a mediator.
• All Pakistan-nationality holding people can take part in the contest, be it overseas or local.
• Employees and agencies of Dunya News are not eligible to participate in the contet.
• The photography competition aims at upholding the spirit of being a nation thus both, professional as well as amateur photographers can take part.
• Any image that has earlier been published online, in a journal or any publication across the world will not be accepted and rejected immediately without prior notice.
• A competitor is permitted to submit only one photograph and not more.
• Picture bearing inadequate details, for identification of the photographer, can be disqualified. To be clear, every participant is required to state his/her full name, residence address and mobile phone number.
• Any copyright issue lies with the sender and the entrant will be responsible for online publishing of the content, NOT Dunya News.
• Every entrant must agree to usage of the picture by Dunya News for the sake of a Pakistan Day competition before sending a photograph.
