Three women among five killed in Gujrat road accident
The fatal accident took place near Kunjah town in Gujrat.
GUJRAT (Dunya News) – Five family members including three women were killed and 16 others were injured when a van collided with a bus in Gujrat district today (Monday).
According to police, the victims from Sialkot were returning home after attending a birthday party in Sardodha when the accident occurred near Kunjah town in Gujrat.
The deceased have been identified as Saba Bibi, Rukhsana Bibi, her 7-year-old son Hasnain Ali, Nazi Bibi and her 3-month-old son Ali Haider.
Sixteen others including Ali, Luqman, Awais Ali and Ejaz were injured in the tragic incident. Most of them age between six years and ten years.
Bodies and injured persons have been shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital.
Fatal road accidents are common in Pakistan, where traffic rules are rarely enforced and roads in many rural areas are poor.
