Karachi police release monthly performance report of January 2017
Karachi police nabbed total of 2380 persons on different charges.
KARACHI (Daily Dunya) - Karachi police on Thursday released monthly performance report for month of January 2017.
Report narrated that police conducted 1888 raids, 77 encounters, arrested 49 criminals red-handed, exterminated 51 criminal groups, nabbed two extortionists, detained 19 involved in murder cases and killed 17 offenders in first month of 2017.
Moreover, Karachi police nabbed 98 street crime criminals, arrested 498 on charges of possessing illegal weapons, arrested 26 wanted criminals, and detained 199 at large suspects in January 2017.

Likewise, police detained 532 persons involved in drug dealing from whom it recovered 6,721 gram heroin, 185,666 gram of marijuana and 2041 bottles of alcohol.
Similarly, police recovered huge cache of arms from miscreants which included 11 Kalashnikovs, 8 rifles, 3 repeaters, 12 revolvers, 3 daggers, 2 shotguns and 578 hand grenades.
