Senator Shahi Sayed demanded death sentences of alcohol addict politicians as they lead the nation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Senate s standing committee session witnessed unusual statements on Friday by Awami National Party’s (ANP) Senator Shahi Sayed.

He demanded death sentences of alcohol addict politicians and declared Hashish as  the drug of saints . However, while labelling Hashish as the saint s drug, he denounced its abuse.

“If public representatives who drink alcohol are not punished then why should a poor man be”, he asked.

The session was amused by Shahi Sayed who pointed out that  Black Label  is becoming popular these days and it should be banned. He suggested that a public representative leads the nation by example so he should refrain from malpractices.

Meanwhile, the committee applauded the police for arresting drug vendors in educational institutions across Islamabad. Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former Interior Minister Rehman Malik suggested that all politicians should undergo drug test so as to know which politician consumes alcohol or opium before contesting elections.
