COAS meets British High Commissioner, boxer Waseem
British High Commissioner praised efforts by Pakistan to ensure peace in the region
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew on Friday at General Headquarters (GHQ), according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Talks between the two were held concerning regional security and mutual interests. The Army Chief has stressed on the need for international support for Pakistan regarding the fight against terrorism.
The British High Commissioner praised efforts by the country to ensure peace in the region.
Moreover, Pakistan s talented boxer Muhammad Waseem also arrived at GHQ to meet COAS. General Qamar Bajwa appreciated the achievements by the boxer.

He said that the youngsters should follow footsteps of Waseem and make the nation proud.
