Two newly-appointed judges have been sworn-in as Islamabad High Court resumed operation after a closure of one and a half years, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. Chief Justice IHC Iqbal Hameedur Rehman administered oath to two judges: Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan and Justice Muhammad Anwar Kasi. It is pertinent to mention that the IHC, earlier set up on a presidential order, had been closed on the directives of the apex court, while all the cases had been transferred to Rawalpindi Bench of Lahore High Court. The CH IHC has also started hearing of cases from today.
