First rain of winter season, fog spell intensifies
After the first showers of winter season, the spell of fog has also intensified. According to the Meteorological department, rain will continue today as well; where as on the other side Motorways Lahore-Pindi Bhattian sector has been closed down for all sorts of traffic.Most of the plain areas of Punjab including Lahore have been engulfed by think fog. The traffic approaching Lahore from various cities is being escorted by Motorway police due to closure of Lahore-Pindi Bhattian sector of Motorway. The Motorway police claim the they will open the Motorway only when the intensity in fog is decreased. The Meteorological department has predicted that rain will continue today also. It will remain cloudy during day time and after the rain, intensity in fog would increase.
