KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday has sought reply from chief secretary and others over the plea regarding implementation on gutka ban.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Muneeb Akhtar conducted hearing over the plea.

The petitioner adopted stance that the provincial government has banned the sale and preparation of gutka, however; the process is still underway in Sindh.

The plea states that gutka causes cancer and various other fatal diseases.

The court while reviewing the petition has sought reply from chief secretary and others on next hearing.
