Talal Chaudhry said Imran Khan is fooling people by refusing to form commission over Panama issue.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Friday strongly bashed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan over rejecting commission for Panama Leaks issue.

Talking to media outside Supreme Court (SC), Talal Chaudhry said that “We will not allow Imran Khan to run away from the court”.

He said Imran Khan is fooling people by refusing to establish commission.

“If we don’t form commission, PTI leaders hold lockdown and when we are ready for inquiry committee, they boycott it”, he lambasted Khan.

Meanwhile, Anusha Rehman said that Imran Khan depicted incivility in the hearing. She said Imran Khan doesn’t believe in nation and Parliament as he only wants to become prime minister through short cut.

On the other hand, Mohsin Shahnawaz said that PTI chief has once again taken a u-turn.

Barrister Zafarullah also lashed out at PTI saying, that what kind of ‘Imrani law’ is this that you first ask for commission and then decline it.

Earlier today, the legal team of the Sharif family said it was in favour of the formation of a commission.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Salman Aslam Butt said any decision by the apex court regarding formation of commission to probe into the matter will be acceptable.

Barrister Akram Sheikh noted that his client doesn’t want to hinder the process of investigation.

PTI chief Imran Khan’s lawyer Naeem Bukhari opposed the decision to form judicial commission.

“PTI will not accept the formation of a commission and if the court constitutes it then we will boycott proceedings,” Bukhari told the five-member bench.

Moreover, SC has adjourned the hearing of Panama Papers case till first week of January.
