A meeting of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) is underway in Rawalpindi, under the head of its chairman General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. The meeting is being attended by all the three Chiefs: the Chiefs of Army Staff General Kayani and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir. The committee, which meets every three months, is taking stock of the defence capability of the armed forces besides the security situation of the country. The meeting is also said to be discussing the needs of the Pakistan Forces and reviewed the Defence Development Programme 2020.
