Malik-Maulana meeting, Maulana adamant upon sticking to his decision
Minister for Interior Affairs Rehman Malik had a meeting with Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman in which he gave President Zardaris message to Maulana. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman simply refused upon taking back his decision of separating from the government.Rehman Malik said that no need to give any application for obtaining the opposition benches because if you join the opposition, then it will cause problems for us in the Senate. In reply to this, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that I will present your requests in front of my party and it will be brought under discussion on 22nd December 2010 during a party meeting. He also said that now it is not possible for me to take back this decision. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman also said that we have separated from government on the basis of some rules and regulations. He said that we are still waiting for the decision of MQM and PML-Q.
