Nisar convenes meeting with David Cameron in London

He recalled ex-PM's historic statement over Pakistan and lauded his stance
LONDON (Dunya News) – Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has hailed David Cameron, former British Prime Minister (PM) on Wednesday as Pakistan’s ‘true friend’ during a meeting in British capital.
The Interior Minister said that Cameron improved Britain-Pakistan terms during his tenure as the premier of the United Kingdom (UK). Pakistani nation has held Cameron in high regard, he said.
He recalled ex-PM’s historic statement over Pakistan and lauded his stance.
While conversing with Chaudhry Nisar, David Cameron appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to restore peace and stability in the region. He acknowledged steps taken by Pakistan to further peace process in Afghanistan.
On the occasion, Cameron asserted that he would keep working to bridge gaps between the two countries on his own.
Nisar also met with Boris Johnson, British Foreign Secretary who hosted a luncheon in honour of Pakistan’s Interior Minister. On Tuesday, Nisar convened meetings with British Prime Minister, Theresa May and National Security Adviser, Sir Mark Lyall Grant.
The Interior Minister has urged the British government to help counter Indian propoganda against Pakistan using false claims and interference in Pakistan.
