Dunya News reported said that the worker never joined the sit-in, he committee suicide

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk, Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Shah Mehmood Qureshi has on Monday claimed that a party worker, named Inamullah, had died of teargas shelling in Peshawar. However, the claim was proven wrong today as the brother of the dead worker said that Inamullah had committed suicide because of mental issues, reported Dunya News.

Talking on Dunya News program Nuqta-e-Nazar with senior journalist Mujibur Rehman Shami, Dunya TV reporter Yasir Hussain said that Inamullah s family told him that he died due to committing suicide. He said that the worker was a mental patient.

Inamullah s brother, talking to Dunya News, also condemned the  propaganda . He dismissed the claim by PTI President and said that Inamullah never even joined PTI convoy. He was livid with the claims by Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

PTI had claimed another dead in the riots in Swabi. However, Yasir Hussain said that he had asked PTI leader Shehram Tarkakai, who is also from Swabi, about the reportedly dead worker. "Tarakai was not confirming the death of the worker", he said.

Mujibur Rehman Shami commented on the issue that Shah Mehmood Qureshi was a very senior and seasoned politician. He said that Qureshi must have avoided making such a claim.
