Farooq Sattar removed Nadeem Nusrat as convenor of MQM Pakistan and became chief himself. In reply MQM London removed Farooq Sattar and his four companions. The decision was taken in presence of senior members, whereas Nadeem Nusrat presided the meeting.

According to decision, four of them were removed because of going against party s discipline. Members were directed to follow the discipline and do not keep contact with those removed from the party.

On the other hand MQM Pakistan refused to accept the orders of MQM London and said that Farooq Sattar is their leader. Due to division, workers and supporters are also confused.
