CM Punjab terms 'Lahore Safe City' Asia's biggest project
CM Punjab said that electricity load shedding would be soon eradicated.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday met with Chairman Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lt. General Rtd Muzammil Hussain in Lahore.
During the meeting, both ministers discussed progressive developments in energy related projects. CM Punjab said that electricity load shedding would be soon eradicated as work on plans is rapidly underway.
Talking to a ceremony, Sharif also termed Lahore Safe City as Asia s biggest project.
He said that the government s efforts to overcome the energy crisis are bringing fruitful results.
He said that numerous ongoing energy projects will be completed by 2017 and adding thousands of megawatt electricity to the national grid.
